The Slumdog emillionaire has the most compelling sales letter I have ever seen. I don’t know who wrote this, but whoever did must be worth their weight in gold.

When I came across the product I had no intention of buying anything- I was about to go to bed- but I lost all control and found myself rushing to get the old credit card out. If you haven’t seen the sales letter, Check it out here. (Link will open in a new window).

Once you have made your payment you will be presented with three very tempting “OTOs” (One Time Offers). I was extremely tempted to go for 2 of these but at an extra $67 bucks a pop, I couldn’t really justify it, seeing as I was already buying something that was supposed to enable me to make a very nice amount of money without the One Time Offers.

When I got to the final download page I was very glad I had not bought them- I don’t feel it would be entirely fair to the vendor to say why, but put it this way, don’t buy them and you will be a happy bunny!

So what is the Slumdog Emillionaire about and does it live up to the hype?

The Slumdog Emillionaire is a series of 15 videos, each lasting on average 15 minutes or so. The videos are narrated by a female with an English accent, which made a nice change, although she does tend to pause and say ‘Urrm’ quite a lot!

Now, firstly I felt slightly disappointed, as this is not a model for overnight success. The sales page talks of “Discover The Hidden Secret To Banking $52,591 In 48 Hours WITHOUT Google…” giving the impression that this is a model for making a fast buck, but there is a lot of groundwork to be done first, before the dollars can come rolling in.

However, there is plenty of good advice on how to structure your time and not get waylaid, that if you take note and really apply yourself, there is no reason why you shouldn’t be up and running within about 20 days. Yes it is work, but so is having to commute to an office everyday.

The Slumdog Millionaire basically is a step-by-step guide to creating a downloadable product and how to go about selling it. Now I have probably a dozen ebooks on my hard drive telling me how to do this- in fact I created a diet download in 2002 by following “33 Days to Online Profits” by Yanik Silver. The information worked then, and would probably still work today, but lets get back to Slumdog.

This is up to date information which is very well presented and holds your hand on your journey to research your product, create the product and finally of course sell the product. Many internet marketers will already know a good part of the information here, but they will not have it all in one handy place. I am absolutely sure if you follow the information to the letter- you can have a worthwhile product up and running within a maximum of 3 weeks, and while you may not make $50,000 dollars in 48 hours, I think $5 to $10,000 is very doable- not bad pocket change for 3 weeks work- and of course the process can be constantly repeated.

I started a product very half-heartedly some months ago, that I have not given a thought to for weeks now. This Slumdog Emillionaire has just given me the motivation I needed to get my finger out and follow the instructions to finish my product- I will keep you updated on how it goes!

All in all I quite recommend this. My original slight disappointment that it was simply rehashed information was not totally unfounded- it’s a step-by-step dummie’s guide to making yourself some decent cash, but if you already have written ebooks or are selling information, there probably is not much here you don’t already now. I would highly recommend it for beginners but if you are an intermediate marketer like myself you may not really need it.

This owner of this site claims he has spent 5 years developing a system that will enable you to make $1889 every week on the lottery- regardless of where you live and which lottery you play.

My interest was piqued- as the figure $1889 made the claim sound genuine, rather than a more abstract claim of say ‘1000s of dollars per week’. I also have studied lottery systems and mathematical perms for years- therefore even if a system is not that great, sometimes I can get something out of it by combining it with my own ideas, so I duly paid my $39.

Now without putting too fine a focus on it, this ’system’ is a load of crap.

It is not a system, the author simply tells you to look for the current hot and cold numbers in you local lottery, and you will have 15 numbers. You are then told to ask a friend to call out say ten combinations of groups of 6 from thse 15 numbers, and there you have your lines for winning $1889 per week.

He arrived at the $1889 because he reckons one of his customers made that the very first week of trying this ’system’. I am appalled people can sell rubbish like this, and equally appalled at the affiliates out there who are promoting it.

Just to be absolutely fair with this review I just put the teachings from “How To Make $1889 On The Lottery Every Week” to the test with the Euromillions lottery. if i had played the system for the 6 draws playing 10 lines per week I would have spent 80 euros and made 11, 40 euros.

I don’t like to give such a negative review- I find that most products do have some wisdom in them even if they are overpriced, something can been gleaned from them. But seriously, don’t waste your money on this one. I have given it a 2 out of 10 because he earns one point in telling you how to pick hot and cold numbers- which any seasoned lottery player will tell you is certainly no way a sure method of choosing winning numbers.

The claims some people make on their sales pages make me want to weep. The vendor of the “Beat the Lotto” system, claims if you purchase his $39 lotto system, you can skyrocket your chances of winning any lottery in the world.

The sales letter then goes on to explain instead of picking 6 numbers for a 6/49 or a 6/42 lottery you can choose 14 numbers, and while if 6 of your 14 numbers come up you are not guaranteed a 6 number jackpot, you will get multiple wins of 3, 4 and maybe if you are lucky a 5 number win, and of course- while very unlikely the six number win is still possible.

Well, that is all very well and good- it is known as ‘wheeling’ in lottery circles- for example a 10 number wheel for a 6/49 lottery will look like this:

Pick 6 Lottery: 10 numbers

(Guaranteed 4/5 win, if 5 numbers come up, you will have at least one winning line of 4 numbers)

My 10 wheel numbers picks are:  01 06 12 15 21 22 28 35 40 49

My wheel contains 7 lines, so if my lottery costs one euro per line, I will have to play 7 euros per lottery draw.

My seven lines are the following-

Now let us assume I am very lucky that week, and 4 of my numbers are among the 6 winning numbers. The four numbers are 6, 12, 28 and 49. Therefore I would have 4 winning lines of three numbers- lines 4,5,6 and 7 are all winners.

HOWEVER- and it’s a biggie- the chances of netting 4 winning numbers out of your 10, are still extremely low. Admittedly you have more chance than when only playing 6 numbers, but you are not guaranteed a high payout- if the 4 numbers had been 1,12,15 and 40, I would have only won 3 lines of 3 numbers. And if only 3 of my numbers were pulled (the odds are still very much against me that that will even occur) I may not even win anything- for example if 6, 22 and 40 are drawn I will not win anything. I will have 6 lines of 2 numbers and 1 line with no winning numbers.

Serious lottery players know that while wheeling can be helpful occasionally it is not a winning system- personally some years ago I played a similar wheel, but with 15 lines to the one I have printed above twice a week for around 18 months, and only once did I ever get a half decent win- I had a few lines of four, and some 3s. For the rest of the time I had no more luck than if I had just played one line of random numbers twice a week.

That is why I find it absolutely incredible that the ‘inventor’ of the Beat the Lotto wheel, (a 14 number wheel for a 6 pick lottery) had a run of fantastic wins- winning 1000s in just three weeks, playing twice a week and winning in every single draw!!! Fantastic! Yes too bloody fantastic, it is out and out lies. He has not stated the draws he won in or showed his tickets I notice.

Forget this one- good wheeling software can be bought very cheaply all over the web- in fact here is a nice selection,

Wheeling software will produce you as many wheels of whatever quantity of lines and numbers you wish to use- to pay $39 for one wheel (with a few bonus ones chucked in) is VERY VERY expensive.

I give this 2 out of 10, one for the wheel, after all, it is a wheel, albeit not likely to produce you any profits, and one point for a nice header graphic on the website.

The sales letter claims there is a ’secret hidden’ market on Betfair- “The fact that there are very few punters betting in these markets, means that there are plenty of opportunities for us to swoop down and raid the profits without them even knowing about it. There is roughly £5000 matched in each of these markets and you will soon find out how we’re going to be taking a small portion of that each time we bet…”

Well if it is so hidden, how come £5000 is being matched every 10 or 15 minutes, I wondered?

Hmm, But let’s not fault a product on a few small contradictions.

The manual is just 39 pages long ( which I like- I don’t want to trawl through lots of fluff) and the last 15 deal with how to use Betfair as a beginner.

The actual system consists of about 10 pages.

The manual deals with the greyhound racing market, it goes into explaining a bit about greyhound racing, and gives a quite detailed criteria for picking dogs that won’t win- in other words dogs for you to bet against- or lay.

The information given in the Betfair Underground Market is detailed but well explained, and the manual explains which dogs not to lay, ensuring you have a greater chance of winning.

The Underground Market then goes on to give a simple staking plan to back dogs as opposed to laying them, if you prefer to back.

I have not yet tried this greyhound racing system, but once you pick a few selections it is very easy to go through the criteria needed to make your bets, it should take just a minute per race, once you familiarize yourself with the system.

However this is not really a ’set and go’ system as you are advised to place your bets a few minutes before the start of each race. I do believe there are a number of bots on the market that can do this for you though, such as the GreyHorse Bot. (Link will open in a new window).

All in all, I am actually quite happy with the purchase, it is after all covered by Clickbank’s no questions asked moneyback guarantee.I will papertrade the system for a week, before deciding if it is worth implementing real-time with my hard earned cash, but I have a feeling this could show a profit.

The Underground Market System is probably more suitable for the thinking punter who likes to treat his gambling as a business and does not mind spending a bit of time studying form and can be infront of the computer for an hour or two a day.

I have awarded the Underground market one 7-out-of-10 points- it loses because it is expensive, the sales page is designed to induce curiosity, which almost always leads to disappointment and you will still need Lady Luck to be on your side.

However, it is well written, the system in described clearly with diagrams and should be very easy to implement for newcomers and experienced punters alike.

At least with a system such as this one, you do have a bit more input in your outcome at the end of the day rather than just laying or backing wildly on Betfair games.

Update: Day 1 of paper trading at 10€ per bet: 3 selections and 3 wins- 30€ profit. A good start.

Day 2: I decided to jump right in and bet real money- my first selection lost but I was able to crawl back up and ended up with a profit of 14 euros.

It is now taking me just about 1to 2 minutes to make my selection in each race. I am changing my mind about this one- it is a decent system and worth the money. I have upped it to an 8-out-of-10.

Day 3: I started really well and was soon 80€ up- I used a combination of both the backing and laying systems mentioned in the manual. BUT, like all good gamblers, I carried on when it would have been advisable to stop while I was ahead.

I ended the day 32€ up- which is good enough for me.

I will no longer post my results as mine will not be typical to anyone elses, I am certainly not betting on every race, and of course your end results will also depend on what odds you manage to get.

However I think it is fair to say this is a good product which is after all worth the outlay- (I originally thought it was too expensive but within a few days you should make your money back). I do recommend using a combination of both the backing and laying systems described during your session, rather than just laying or backing.

As the name implies, Betalay involves laying horses (for those not in the know, when you lay a horse you are betting it won’t win).

When you lay a horse, let’s say for arguments sake the odds are 3.00 and you lay it for 10 pounds – if your horse wins you will lose 20 quid- however if your horse does not win the race (quite likely because if there are 7 horses in the race 6 of them won’t win) you only win the amount you staked- so in our example you will win a tenner. That is fine and dandy, but horses that are expected to lose have a nasty habit of romping home, and if he was a 10 to 1 horse you stand to lose 100 pounds and the only hope you ever had was to win a tenner. For this reason, I am a little wary of laying- at least when backing a selection you can only lose the amount you backed- and not many times your original stake.

The Betalay system involves laying the 3rd favourite in a race- providing the horse meets a certain criteria.

The Betalay people claim you can earn around £2000 per month if use use £25 stakes. They have some very impressive screenshots on their site, showing how the system has made £195,000 profit since July 2000.

I began playing this and had a few days where I was in profit- on day 3, I was slightly down, but by day 4 I got hit big time. Although you see plenty of good reviews of this product, my advice is to tread very carefully- I have also seen many bad reviews- mostly on private forums. I think this is a product you can use for short periods of time and possibly get lucky, after all the third favourite is not the most likely horse to win the race. I would do this a few times, then if you get lucky twice, just get out!

I do not think this system can win consistently over the long term. I am only awarding it 3-out-of-10 points, because it lost me money; the claims on the sales page are very misleading because they are quoting Betfair’s SP odds (When you lay at Betfair you will be paying odds around 20% higher than Betfair’s SP. At these prices you would not be showing the profit that the Betalay people quote) it is very very expensive for 5 pages of poor information- all in all, one to be avoided.

Now, some of these products are basically ‘not very good’ to put it mildly, they are just a mish mash of free information that can be found anywhere on the net, yet they seem to spend an awful long time in the top ten! Yet others are excellent and don’t make it anywhere near the top ten- this obviously has a lot to do with the sales page- give a load of hype and false promises and you will sell books- tell it straight like it is, no hype, and you probably won’t sell many. It’s a shame.

One such product, which is without a doubt the best diet book (in my humble opinion) selling on Clickbank is ‘Why do You Overeat’ by Zoe Harcombe. Zoe’s book is 300 pages of no-nonsense easy to understand common sense, which also contains a whole bundle of recipes.

The diet is: Not low-carb or low calorie, it is not even low fat! The diet is in 3 phases, the toughest phase is the first but it only lasts 5 days.

As I said, my weight problem is not severe and about 10 days on this diet sorts me out- the first time I tried it I lost 8lbs in the first five days. I have since used the diet on a number of other occasions-It can be used for people like myself who sometimes go overboard, or equally as well by people who have more weight to lose. My sister lost 26lbs with this diet, and has kept it off.

I highly recommend this book, (which incidentally was published as a paperback before the digital version was released). I give it 9-out-of-10, only dropping a point because not every diet will always be perfect for everyone.

I just wish it would have the recognition on Clickbank it deserves, as it can truly help you to lose weight without even feeling you are dieting.

It quickly became one of the best sellers in the Health and Fitness category on Clickbank.

Out came my credit card yet again- the product aroused curiosity as it is very unlike just about every other product in the dieting section, there are no before and after pics, no testimonials and indeed, no real ’sales letter’.

Fatloss for Idiots was a bit cheaper back then, I think I paid $29 whereas now it costs $39- at present there is a 50% discount which I actually think is genuine rather than a trick to get people to buy, as there was a period when it was more expensive, so I guess the lucky owner could decide to put it up again at any time.

I say ‘Lucky Owner’ because Fat Loss for Idiots has been the number 1 product in the Clickbank dieting category for nearly four years now and I dont think it would be an exaggeration to assume it has made the owners very wealthy.

As the owner of a couple of health and fitness blogs, I have had a number of emails over the years asking ‘Is fat loss 4 idiots a scam?’ and my reply is No, it isn’t. Although the name implies you need to be an idiot to buy it, it is actually a very simple diet that anybody can follow.

After making your payment you will be directed to an online diet generator, where you are given various groups of foods and asked to check your favorite in each group. The diet generator will then instantly come up with an 11 day menu, which gives you four meals to eat each day.

The meals are extremely simple, you can even put in food choices that do not need cooking if you are on the go a lot.

The diet claims to work because of ‘calorie shifting’, therefore because every day you are varying your calorie intake, your body will not lower it’s metabolism as it goes into ’starvation mode’. This is highly possible along with that you will only be consuming healthy carbs on this diet.

So in answer to the question ‘Does fat loss for Idiots work?’ I would say Yes, it does. Although claims of losing 9lbs every 11 days might not be too realistic, I think around 5 or 6lbs is very do-able on this diet, you shouldn’t go hungry and as you picked YOUR favorite foods it is not too hard to stick to.

All in all the fatloss for idiots diet review is favorable, I will give this one 8 out of 10. It loses 2 points- one point for being quite expensive- even if it does work, $30 would do nicely, and one for not every diet works for every single individual, however I do honestly think this should work for most.

I looked for a review, but found nothing that wasn’t a blatant affiliate link, and as usual decided to bite the bullet anyway.

The sales page was somewhat off-putting as it states there are only 92 copies of the software available. I found that extremely hard to believe- I mean the price of this product is at present $77, so if you only sell 92 copies, and assuming around 40% of your takings will go to your affiliates and Clickbank costs, you are only left with around $4000, which also assuming you had to pay somebody to help with the design of your site, maybe someone to help with the copywriting, (not cheap) and a programmer to produce the software, I don’t think you would bother, particularly when you are already making 100s per hour whiling away the days playing HiLo on Betfair!

Hmmm, already something smelt a bit, but I decided everyone has a right to create a scarcity panic in order to sell more copies, so out came the well worn credit card.

Well basically, this software is is a very simple little program that simply calculates how much to increase your bet at each round of the HiLo game after a previous loss to ensure you eventually get a profit. I am not a huge fan of systems that require you to do this, as eventually you get stung. However the author does advise you on how to stop losing your entire bank, and in all fairness he gives good advice that applies to any betting system that should help you to keep the shirt on your back. The more important part of the package is a manual telling you where to lay your bets- which is the core of the system.

To follow the system you will need a large bank. I am in Spain so my minimum bet is 4 euros- I would not think it is a good idea to begin this with less than 1000€ to play with.

it is also a bit fiddly to start with- unfortunately the software is not connected to Betfair, so you have to open Betfair in the browser and the software somewhere to the side of your screen, which means you need to be pretty quick. However I guess with a bit of practice this will become possible.

All in all, while I would not call this a miracle, bloody far from it actually, and it is certainly not foolproof, but if you follow the advice to the letter, there is a chance you could make a few quid. I think 100s per hour is extremely unlikely, infact, in my opinion if you are 30 pounds up, I would get out and leave it for a good few hours before going back to it. Betfair games are changing their algorithms by the hour, and if you hit a winning streak, best to get out!

In my experience every Betfair system eventually fails, but this one is probably no worse than most, and does have some merits. While of course you can always take advantage of the obligatory Clickbank money guarantee if you decide the system is not for you, you can’t have your Betfair bank back, so proceed with caution, as as the manual states, paper trade for a while until you are completely sure you know what you are doing.

The software could also be used in conjunction with other systems if you are laying the bet, e.g Horseracing, greyhounds or football.

If you decide to purchase go to click the window away and you will be offered a $10 discount, taking the price down to $67. On rechecking I see the price has now gone up to $97 but if you click the window away, you are offered a $30 discount, so you can still get it for $67.

You will also be offered as an upsell a step-by-step video tutorial- I would pass on that because you get a video tutorial anyway, and as the manual is well written it is not needed.

All in all I would award this product 6-out-of-10. It loses points for being too expensive, for exaggerating on the sales page, and for sending a follow up email after I signed up for their newsletter making wild imaginary claims.

However it has six points because the manual is well written for newbies and Betfair pros alike. The system is viable (for those with a sizable bank) and the author does give some sound advice for making sure you don’t do your bank in one go. With a bit of luck if you stick to it to the letter over the week a profit should show. At the time of writing I have paper traded the system for a few hours over 5 days and show 182 euros in profit. Bear in mind also, this is not ’set and go’ you have to sit at the PC and work it. Maybe if I had spent longer at it my bank could be higher or it could have disappeared altogether!

it does have some good information, but let’s be honest if you are making 100s a day on Betfair, I think you would keep it to yourself. This is a system that gives you good ideas and with a bit of tweaking it can work- but it certainly is not a celestial marvel as the name implies.
